Every love story has its beginning, and ours started in 2017. Despite our different personalities, we found common ground in the anime series Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. That small connection sparked a friendship that quickly grew through shared interests and long conversations about life, dreams, and purpose. Over time, that friendship turned into something deeper. Between coffee breaks, lesson plans, and late-night chats, we found comfort and inspiration in each other.
Like any real story, ours came with challenges—distance, different beliefs, and the struggles brought by the pandemic.
Lockdowns forced us to hit pause, use our wedding fund for essentials, and adapt. After the lockdown, we picked ourselves back up, resumed work, and began living life full of adventure. Through constant prayers and faith in God, the tests we faced helped us grow stronger and stay grounded in our shared goals.
When traveling became possible again, we started exploring new places—Palawan, Tagaytay, Pangasinan—and eventually, our first international trip to Hong Kong (Special thanks to Ninong Mike for this!) . It was there, in Disneyland, where I asked her to marry me. In front of the castle, surrounded by fireworks and a humble crowd, I thanked God for hearing the sweetest “Yes” to my question. On February 6, 2026, we’ll begin our next chapter—no more pauses, just a lifetime of shared adventures, love, and endless stories to tell.
